The provided feature set in Avicenna, including community-directed treatment (CDT), allows researchers to properly synchronize and conduct research efforts to address common challenges in emerging infectious diseases.

Survey Sampling
Design, trigger, and deliver surveys to simultaneously assess the health outcome, observe participants’ exposure to different effect modifiers, and study potential confounders. Our flexible survey tool allows a simple way for researchers to measure the health of a cohort and monitor the effectiveness of their intervention.
Contact Pattern Tracking
Automated contact tracing can provide insight on critical factors underlying the spread of contagions, such as sexually transmitted infections like HIV, and airborne illnesses such as influenza or tuberculosis.
Avicenna is pioneered in using sensors for contact tracing. Since 2008 we have been providing technology for such measurements and using the collected data in different health modeling.
Sensor Data Collection
Collect environmental data, physical activity, and location data via a wide range of sensors embedded in smartphones and wearables, to study the associations of this data with diseases and other health outcomes.
